    I did the same with N800 and Htc kaiser: same result, mobile very hot when bluetooth+3G always on! moreover mobile battery dies after 4 hours only

    I have an N95-1 here in the US, meaning no 3G. EDGE is not the end of the world, I suppose.

    yeah when I had the N800 back in the US, I was tethering it to either my E62 or N95-1. now I have HSDPA most of the time, but still go through areas where there's no 3G coverage and have to fall back on EDGE.

    oh and my devices are usually in my handbag so i don't feel them getting hot, but iirc the N95 warms up a lot more than the E62

    Tethering is nice, I have it on 3G as well. But sucks the living daylights out of the battery of the phone will full on 3G, Bluetooth on!
