    yeah, even if the chinese restaurants are run by chinese, they usually "americanize" (or wherever-ize) the food. some will actually have a separate chinese menu, in chinese, for chinese :P

    I noticed the same thing about "Mexican" restaurants in Brazil. I had to kinda squint and turn my head to recognize the food as "Mexican". :)
